Role - Oracle DBALocation - Mumbai - BelapurJob type - Full Time Required Skill Set: -: - Oracle Production database administration with knowledge of Oracle 10g, 11g databases, sql loader, RMAN, Physical Standby Databases, Dataguard, ASM, RAC databases. - Should have knowledge of Oracle Database Performance Tuning. - Backup and Recovery methodology using Hot backups and RMAN backups. - Working knowledge to work with oracle support. - Should have working knowledge of logical backups and restore using data pump utility & normal EXP / IMP utility. - Shell Scripting knowledge on unix platforms specially on Solaris. - Should be ready to provide 7x24 support. Should be ready to work in shifts. - Basic knowledge of Oracle Applications Server 11i. Key Responsibilities: -: - Implementing and maintaining database security (create and maintain users, roles and assign privileges) - Maintaining standby databases, in both local and remote locations - Advanced Backup and Recovery using Oracles RMAN software; using offline/online for recovery in a production environment. - Performing daily routine activities i.e. database backups, export, Imports - Recovery manager ( RMAN ) Configuration on Oracle 10g - Designed and created Standby Database in Oracle 9i and Oracle 10g. - Oracle 9i and 10g, 11g Server Installation on UNIX, Solaris and Windows platforms. - Archive log shipping to the Standby site for production databases. - Resolving User related queries in Production and Test Databases. - Communicating with other teams and clients for their queries and issues. - Performance analysis and Diagnosis of Databases. - Internally escalating problems as well as externally wherever necessary in order to meet SLAs. - Good analytical and problem solving skills are required. - Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks while under pressure Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: - Commuter assistance - Adaptable schedule - Food provided - Health insurance - Leave encashment - Life ins .
