About the role
Job Responsibilities Familiar with geometrical modelling. Familiar with standards. Good fundamentals in strength of material, applied mechanics, Material science, basic Aerodynamics, Fundamental of Design and finite element method (FEM). Boundary conditions and test methods as per the Standards. Calculations and verifications as per standards. Understanding physics of process and decide boundary conditions as per process. Analysis of design concept and recommendations based on FEA results. Create FEA models by considering the material and meshing of CAD model. Perform the simulations as per physics and standards. Verify Results and do the sanity checks as per physics. Verify design of component, subsystem and complete system. Make technical reports and presentations of the simulations results. Certification process for airworthiness clearance (CEMILAC/DGAQA) Support and participation in internal and external professional networks. Skill Sets Theoretical knowledge of FEA. Knowledge of engineering design, material science and strength of material Aerodynamics structures. Hands on Software Ansys Mechanical MSC Nastran. Hands on Design software. Hands on calculations software like Matlab/python. Simulations Aero elasticity Flutter Analysis (One Way Two Way FSI) Static structural. Dynamics and explicit. Modal Harmonic analysis. Vibration analysis. Composite analysis. Thermal analysis. Transient structural Analysis Qualification Requirements BE/B-TECH (Mechanical/ aeronautical) from recognised university with 3-4 year relevant experience. ME/M-TECH (Design/Cad-Cam/Aeronautical equivalent) from recognised university with 2-3 year relevant experience.
