About the role
Vehicle & Manufacturing Analytics ExecutiveAnalytics InitiativesLead analytics initiatives related to vehicle performance, durability, reliability, and usage patterns.Develop analytics models using vehicle sensor data (CAN, IoT, telematics) and manufacturing data.Work on predictive maintenance, fault detection, warranty analytics, and field failure analysis.Analyze production, quality, scrap, rework, and yield data to drive continuous improvement.Support plant operations with AIled process optimization and anomaly detection.AI & Data Science SolutionsQuality prediction and defect classification.Demand forecasting and capacity planning.Supplier quality and risk analytics.Vehicle health monitoring and diagnostics.Apply techniques such as regression, classification, timeseries forecasting, clustering, and deep learning.Collaborate with IT and digital teams to deploy models into production systems.Data Engineering & ToolsWork with large datasets from MES, PLM, ERP, Telematics, SCADA, and IoT platforms.Use analytics tools and languages including Python, SQL, R.Create dashboards and insights using Power BI / Tableau / other BI tools.Ensure data quality, governance, and standardization across analytics projects.Business & Stakeholder ManagementPartner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, R&D, Aftersales, and Supply Chain teams.Translate business problems into analytics use cases and measurable outcomes.Present insights, models, and recommendations to senior leadership.Mentor junior analysts and contribute to analytics capability building.Key Skills & CompetenciesTechnical SkillsStrong expertise in Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI.Proficiency in Python, SQL, and analytics libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikitlearn, TensorFlow/PyTorch preferred).Handson experience with manufacturing and automotive datasets.Knowledge of IoT, telematics, sensor data analytics, and vehicle systems.Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP preferred).BI and visualization expertise (Power BI / Tableau).Domain KnowledgeStrong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, vehicle systems, and quality frameworks.Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, SPC, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing principles.Exposure to OEM or Tier1 automotive environments is highly desirable. .
