Engineering Manager - Full Stack Development

As an engineering leader, you will be responsible for: - Leading, mentoring, and scaling high-performing engineering teams across backend and frontend. - Driving engineering excellence, coding standards, and best practices. - Overseeing sprint planning, on-time execution, delivery, and production stability. - Collaborating closely with Product, Business, and Operations groups to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions. - Owning engineering KPIs including performance, quality, reliability, and security compliance. - Managing team structure, resource planning, performance management, hiring, and capability building. - Driving modernization initiatives such as microservices, event-driven architecture, API-first development, cloud adoption, and CI/CD automation. - Leading troubleshooting of complex production issues and ensuring long-term systemic fixes. Key Skills & Experience required: - 12+ years of strong Java and React development experience with at least 2 years as an engineering manager. - Strong cloud architecture experience, preferably on GCS. - Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases. - Hands-on experience with caches like Redis. - Expertise in architecture, distributed systems, scalable application design, and modern software design patterns. - Experience with microservices, event-driven systems, RESTful APIs, and observability platforms. - Proven track record of driving engineering roadmaps and cross-functional collaboration.
