Role Overview: Jump Trading Group is looking for a skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. At Jump, research outcomes drive more than just financial returns. As a Network Infrastructure Engineer, you will work with multiple teams to implement and optimize network infrastructure for low latency trading applications worldwide. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and solving complex network issues using automated data-driven approaches. Key Responsibilities: - Implement and optimize network infrastructure for low latency trading applications at various data centers globally - Diagnose and solve complex network infrastructure issues using an automated, data-driven approach - Utilize monitoring tools to locate, diagnose, and resolve network-related issues throughout the infrastructure - Communicate the impact of network-related issues to traders, developers, and other business resources - Support and troubleshoot a hybrid wireless and wired high-performance network environment - Use automation skills and adopt a 'dev ops' approach to improve efficiency in solving network infrastructure issues, network management, and maintenance of trading applications Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred - At least 5+ years of hands-on networking experience - Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting skills in IP networking and TCP/IP - Proficiency in Linux Administration and scripting - Demonstrated good judgment, ability to evaluate short and long-term impacts, and confidence in decision-making with full responsibility for end results Role Overview: Jump Trading Group is looking for a skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer to join their team.
