About the role
Designation : Site Engineer Civil (Government / Corporation Projects) Industry: Construction / Infrastructure / Real Estate (Government / Corporation Body Projects) Experience: 1- 3 years of experience in execution of government / municipal corporation / public infrastructure projects within the construction industry. Key Responsibilities: Site Execution & Supervision : Manage day-to-day site execution of civil works including RCC, structural, road works, drainage, water supply, and public infrastructure projects as per approved drawings and government specifications. Government Project Coordination : Coordinate with government departments, municipal corporations, project management consultants (PMC), and statutory authorities for approvals, inspections, and compliance requirements. Drawing & Specification Compliance : Ensure all works are executed strictly as per approved GFC drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and tender conditions issued by government / corporation bodies. Quality Assurance & Testing : Implement quality control procedures as per government norms; coordinate field and laboratory testing of materials (concrete, steel, soil, etc.) and maintain proper test records. Billing & Measurement : Prepare RA bills, maintain Measurement Books (MB), conduct joint measurements with department engineers, and ensure timely submission and certification of bills. Contractor & Vendor Management : Supervise subcontractors and vendors, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to project timelines and contractual obligations. Project Planning & Monitoring : Prepare short-term schedules, monitor daily and weekly progress, identify delays, and implement corrective measures to meet project deadlines. Safety & Regulatory Compliance : Ensure strict adherence to government safety regulations, labor laws, environmental norms, and site safety standards. Documentation & Reporting : Maintain DPR (Daily Progress Reports), site registers, hindrance registers, inspection reports, and other statutory documentation required for government audits. Liaison & Inspection Handling: Assist during inspections by government officials, auditors, vigilance teams, and third-party quality inspectors; ensure proper documentation and compliance readiness. Time Management : planning the work and do the work as per schedule. Project Planning & Monitoring: Ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities to ensure timely completion, quality standards, and achievement of project objectives. Knowledge Requirements : Familiarity with government tender procedures, BOQ analysis, MB recording, RA billing process, and public works department (PWD) norms will be preferred.
