Role Overview We are hiring a Senior Azure Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Azure data platforms and proven experience delivering complex enterprise data solutions. This role requires deep technical capability along with mentoring and partial ownership of solution delivery. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms Develop ETL/ELT workflows using ADF, Synapse, and Databricks Build and optimize lakehouse architectures Mentor junior engineers and review code Collaborate with business stakeholders and solution architects Ensure data quality, governance, and performance tuning Support DevOps implementation (CI/CD pipelines) Contribute to solution design and technical discussions Required Experience (710 Years) 7+ years in data engineering / data warehousing 7+ years of Azure data platform experience Strong in: Azure Data Factory Azure Synapse Analytics Azure Data Lake Azure Databricks (PySpark) Advanced SQL, Python/PySpark Hands-on experience with large-scale data processing Strong data modelling (dimensional + normalized) Mandatory Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) (Mandatory) Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional Required Skills Azure data services (ADF, ADLS, Synapse, Databricks) PySpark, SQL, Python Performance optimization CI/CD (Azure DevOps) Data warehousing & lakehouse design Preferred Candidate Profile Immediate joiners preferred Exposure to global delivery environments Ability to mentor and guide team members Career at Kagool A career at Kagool offers a progressive and growth-focused environment where talented professionals can work on meaningful enterprise transformation programmes.
