Java Architect

As a Java Architect at Kale Logistics Solutions, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and architecture of Java-based platforms. Your responsibilities will include: - Creating and maintaining architectural documentation, such as diagrams and design documents, to ensure architectural consistency and support development teams. - Collaborating with the VP/CTO to define and execute the technical strategy for cloud-based products. - Designing and architecting robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based products and services using Java. - Identifying architectural risks, developing mitigation strategies, and proactively addressing potential issues to ensure project success. - Conducting performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting to optimize system performance. - Implementing security best practices in all cloud-based solutions. - Providing technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring high-quality standards. - Collaborating with product teams on requirements exploration, technical feasibility analysis, and feature prioritization. - Evaluating and recommending new technologies, frameworks, and tools for innovation. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from tier 1 education institutes (IIT, NIT, IIIT, BITS). - 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java and related frameworks. - 5+ years of experience in architecting and implementing SAAS products on the cloud. - Deep understanding of cloud architecture system design, Java, SpringCloud, Microservices, Cloud technologies, and Front-end technologies (e.g., Angular or React). - In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles, microservices, cloud-native architectures, and SOA. - Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) and their integration with cloud products. - Solid experience in implementing secure cloud solutions and designing product integrations. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in fast-paced product development environments. - Understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD, IaC, and automated testing. - Knowledge of data engineering, data pipelines, and analytics concepts is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. - Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. - Strategic ability with a hands-on approach and an analytical mindset. - Ability to drive product excellence, innovation, and quality in a fast-paced environment.
