Associate Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Kaleris, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to building cutting-edge transportation and logistics software products. Your role will involve analyzing functional requirements, designing and developing software programs, providing technical support, designing user interfaces, algorithms, and data structures, and communicating development progress to supervisors in India and USA. Your contributions will play a significant role in shaping the next generation of Kaleris products. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze functional requirements and develop software programs based on specifications - Provide technical support for new and existing product features - Design and maintain user interfaces, algorithms, and data structures - Create test cases and test suites for new and existing functional modules - Communicate development progress to supervisors in India and USA Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree or higher, preferably in Engineering or Computer Science - Strong Object-Oriented programming skills and proficiency in performance technologies - Experience in debugging, preferably using Visual Studio & Code Warrior IDEs - Ability to automate unit/functional tests using standard or proprietary tools - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities - Familiarity with source code control systems such as SVN, CVS, VSS or equivalent - Exposure to logistics and container terminals/management preferred - Knowledge of real-time graphical application development is a plus - Willingness for occasional international travel to visit customers and offices At Kaleris, diversity is celebrated, and an inclusive environment for all employees is a top priority.
