Mechanical Design Engineer OR Mechanical Utilities Engineer

Role & responsibilities Job description 1) Preparation of Process flow diagram, Process and instrumentation diagram, Design calculations for mechanical utilities 2) Preparation of piping BOQ from P&ID 3) Preparation of plot plan layout, pipeline routing, isometric drawing / construction isometric and final BOQ 4) Preparation of piping material specifications (PMS) and equipment specifications. 5) Preparation of valve datasheet and special items datasheet. 6) Preparation of instrumentation philosophy and incorporating it in P&IDs 7) Pipe rack layout, piping routing and piping load analysis. 8) Preparation of tender documents and floating enquires. 9) Preparation of technical comparison & technical bid analysis. 10) Design and verify Layout, Piping and Supports, piping isometrics etc. 11) Check and Verify the Piping Deliverables viz; Plot Plan, Equipment Layout, Isometrics and Piping General Arrangement Drawings. 12) Co-ordinate with other disciplines for Inter Discipline Review of Documents including of Vendor.
