About the role
System and Data Management Database Maintenance: Manage ERP/POS systems, ensuring accurate master data entries for gold weight, purity, diamond specifications, and pricing. Daily Backups: Perform routine data backups and security protocols to safeguard financial records and customer transaction history. Software Troubleshooting: Resolve hardware, network, and software issues across billing counters and back offices to prevent showroom downtime. Inventory and Stock Control Stock Reconciliation: Track daily movement and balance high-value inventory (gold, platinum, and precious stones) between the vault and showroom displays. Audit Support: Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports to assist auditors and store managers during physical stock audits. Showroom Coordination Hardware Support: Maintain peripherals like barcode scanners, label printers, biometric attendance systems, and CCTV security setups. User Assistance: Train showroom sales staff on basic system navigation and fast billing procedures during peak gold-buying seasons.
