About the role
You are an experienced Technical Lead specializing in Business Intelligence and Microsoft Fabric, ready to join the Data & Analytics team in Chennai. Your role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of BI solutions, acting as the primary technical point of contact for clients, and ensuring successful project delivery. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the design, development, and implementation of Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions. - Acting as the primary technical point of contact for clients and managing day-to-day client interactions. - Gathering and analyzing business requirements to create scalable BI solutions. - Architecting and implementing solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and related data technologies. - Guiding and mentoring BI developers and data engineers. - Ensuring adherence to best practices in data modeling, reporting, governance, and performance optimization. - Conducting technical reviews, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving delivery excellence. - Collaborating with internal teams and client stakeholders for project success. Your required skills and experience should include: - 712 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Data Warehousing. - Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, OneLake, Real-Time Analytics). - Expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data visualization best practices. - Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts. - Experience in leading technical teams and managing project deliveries. - Ability to confidently interact with clients, gather requirements, provide recommendations, and manage stakeholder expectations. - Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred qualifications would include experience with Azure Data Services and modern data platforms, along with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI certifications.
