Regular shifts basis the business need This position is critical urgent, and business is looking to onboard the candidate in next 4 weeks. Role summary We re looking for a Jira Developer to design, build, and maintain Atlassian Jira solutions that improve delivery workflows, visibility, and governance. You ll partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to implement automation, custom scripting, integrations, and reporting while ensuring security, performance, and maintainability. Required qualifications 4+ years in Jira administration and/or development (or equivalent experience). Strong JQL, workflow design, and Jira configuration expertise (schemes, permissions, notifications). Hands-on experience with Jira REST APIs and building integrations. Proficiency in Groovy for Jira scripting/automation (e. g. , ScriptRunner-style patterns). Proficiency in Python for API integrations, automation jobs, and data/reporting pipelines. Familiarity with Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban), SDLC, and DevOps practices. Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills. Preferred qualifications Experience with Jira Service Management (SLAs, queues, request types, knowledge base). Experience with Jira Cloud and Data Center differences, migrations, and app compatibility. Experience with CI/CD tooling and Git-based workflows. Experience with integration middleware (e. g. , iPaaS), event-driven architectures, or message queues. Atlassian certifications (Jira Administration) are a plus.
