Junior Android Developer

We are looking for a talented Android Developer with 6+ years of experience to build high-performance, scalable, and feature-rich mobile applications. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience developing OTT (Over-The Top) streaming applications and a strong command of Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.Work with APIs, RESTful services, and third-party integrations. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Stay up to date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and frameworks. Required Skills and Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in Android app development. Experience in OTT platform is Mandatory. Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Advanced) including coroutines, flows, and functional programming concepts. Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern UI components. Deep understanding of Android SDK, architecture components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, etc.), and app lifecycle. Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar design patterns. Knowledge of version control systems like Git. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and app deployment on the Play Store. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Good to Have: Experience with Dependency Injection frameworks (e.g., Hilt, Dagger). Exposure to unit testing and UI testing (JUnit, Espresso). Understanding of performance optimization and app analytics tools. Knowledge of Compose Navigation and Material Design 3 principles. .
