About the role
As the Manager, Commissioning at KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS), you will be responsible for overseeing start-up and plant operations activities to ensure proper installation, design review, and calculation of expected system parameters. Your role will involve coordinating start-up operations, directing craft, conducting performance tests, and providing engineering reports for design changes. Additionally, you will work with clients on-site, interpret assignments, and apply advanced theories for value creation. Your key responsibilities will include: - Coordinating start-up operations, including flushing, chemical cleaning, and initial equipment operation - Conducting performance tests, calculating results, and heat balances - Performing calculations to evaluate design changes and providing engineering reports - Developing commissioning and pre-commissioning execution plans, task registers, and systemization deliverables - Managing spare parts, consumables, tools, and specialized tools required for commissioning - Preparing and reviewing operating manuals, testing procedures, and overseeing activities for plant start-up To qualify for this role, you should have an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of related experience, with an average of 20+ years. Your background in commissioning engineering and detail-oriented approach will be essential to support commissioning deliverables for detailed engineering projects.
