CAS ? Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities and Role: Conversant with IEC, IS and UL standards for Heating and Cooling systems. Shall be responsible for safety evaluation of Heating and Cooling systems as per IEC, IS and UL standards. Shall be familiar with the design and manufacturing process. Shall be familiar with the test methods and must be knowledgeable to judge the test results. Shall have prior exposure in conducting various tests as per the IEC, IS and UL standards for Heating and Cooling systems. Shall be involved in detailed evaluation of the product construction & testing Shall have basic knowledge on audit requirements for the test facilities as per ISO 1702and witness the product testing at client facility or at third party labs within ISO 1702guidelines Shall undergo extensive training in India / abroad on various aspects of product safety. Should be coordinating and participating in market development activities like client training, public seminars and publishing technical papers in leading magazines. Should have knowledge on FMEA, QC Tools and Energy Efficiency. Candidate profile: BE/B.Tech (Refrigeration, with graduation in Mechanical or Electrical / Electronics) Preferably with exposure in R & D or Quality and Testing Experience in Product safety / performance testing will be advantageous Well versed with International Standards. Should have worked in related Industry. 3-years experience preferred
