Principal Designer - Piping Layout

Develop unit plot plans and equipment layouts for industrial and offshore projects. Conduct layout optimization studies to enhance efficiency, safety, and operability. Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTO) for project execution. Review vendor packages to ensure compliance with project standards and integration into layouts. Apply mechanical handling concepts during layout design. Perform support selection and modeling; create special support drawings when required. Conduct ISO checking and back drafting, supporting the ISO team on project deliverables. Lead and mentor junior designers, ensuring adherence to design standards and project timelines. Participate in conceptual layout studies and early project planning. Required Skills & Expertise: Proficient in S3D, E3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and MS Office. Strong knowledge of mechanical handling concepts and layout optimization. Experienced in support selection, modeling, and special support drawing creation. Skilled in ISO checking and back drafting. Excellent leadership and mentoring skills to guide young designers. Strong conceptual layout study capabilities. Effective communication and team collaboration skills. Additional Advantage: Experience in PML macros development. Experience in LNG projects.
