By combining autonomous AI agents with experienced privacy professionals, Kensara.ai delivers end-to-end DPDPA compliance across data mapping, consent and rights management, DPIAs, policy drafting, vendor assessments, breach readiness, and ongoing monitoring. The platform serves Indian startups, SMEs, and enterprises that need fast, reliable, and cost-effective compliance without manual, spreadsheet-heavy workflows. Kensara.ai supports digital-first and AI-first companies, including SaaS, fintech, healthtech, and marketplaces preparing for audits or investor diligence, while helping service providers demonstrate strong DPDPA posture to win and retain enterprise clients. The mission is to make DPDPA compliance faster, clearer, and more trustworthy, enabling companies to scale confidently without fearing notices, audits, or breaches. Role Description The Founding CTO will lead the technical vision and execution for Kensara.ai, owning architecture, product roadmap, and engineering delivery for our AI-native compliance platform. This full-time, on-site role based in Indore involves building and managing a high-performing engineering team, setting technical standards, and ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable systems aligned with DPDPA requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing software development, guiding product experimentation, collaborating closely with founders, product, and privacy teams, and translating customer and regulatory needs into technical solutions. The Founding CTO will drive infrastructure and data strategy, champion best practices in security and privacy-by-design, and establish processes for rapid iteration, quality assurance, and incident readiness. This role also includes evaluating and integrating AI technologies, managing technical partnerships, and contributing directly to fundraising, investor discussions, and long-term technology strategy. Qualifications Strong experience in Software Development, with hands-on expertise in building secure, scalable SaaS or AI-driven platforms. Ready to invest atleast 5 hrs/day Willing to work Unpaid till Seed Round of Funding Proven ability in Architecture and IT Strategy, including designing cloud-native systems, data pipelines, and security-first architectures. Demonstrated skills in Product Development, working closely with cross-functional teams to translate user needs and regulatory requirements into product features. Solid Project Management capabilities, including roadmap planning, sprint management, delivery tracking, and team leadership. Experience building and leading early-stage engineering teams, preferably in startups or fast-growing technology companies. Proficiency with modern development stacks, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD, and observability tools. .
