Structural/Civil (Onshore)Engineer

Assist and contribute to projects to meet safety targets and advise on safety improvements. Collaborate with other disciplines, contractors, and clients to develop design specifications. Perform designing/engineering work/deliverables as part of the team. Coordinate with the project team internally and externally to ensure effective quality product. Review and check vendor drawings and other discipline drawings for civil/structural input. Provide technical expertise to queries from construction teams and suggest resolutions. Manage site development, surface creation, site preparation works including SWPPP, rough grading, and finished grading. Design storm water drainage, effluents, manhole and cat basic detailing, water/sanitary sewer, and modelling; roadway, paving, and fencing plans; concrete design; foundations for equipment, furnaces, towers, flares, tanks, cooling towers, exchangers, vessels, pumps, compressors, dynamic analysis, substations, miscellaneous equipment, blast analysis and reinforcement; steel design; pipe racks; auxiliary structures for operations and maintenance and multi-level steel structures for heavy equipment; flare stacks (derrick and guy-wire); blast resistant structural design. Prepare geotechnical and topographical survey specifications and review soil report and survey data. Stay updated on new engineering processes, techniques, and standards. Develop and recommend improvements in engineering and design standards to lower costs and improve work quality and facilitate maintenance.
