About the role
The Prospect We are looking for a talented Software Engineer in Test who can work across mobile testing, automation frameworks, API validation, and agile product delivery. This is a hands-on role for someone who can contribute immediately, take ownership, and work with a startup mindset. The ideal candidate should be committed to the product journey and willing to play an important role in helping us launch, stabilise, and scale the product in the market. Key Responsibilities - Test mobile applications across iOS and Android - Perform both manual and automation testing - Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts - Identify high-value test cases suitable for automation - Conduct API and backend validation, including REST APIs, JSON payloads, request/response validation, and error handling - Support CI/CD and continuous testing practices - Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and delivery teams - Raise, track, and manage defects with clear evidence and reporting - Contribute to test planning, test coverage, regression testing, and release readiness - Drive quality improvements across the product lifecycle Required Skills & Experience - Minimum 3+ years of experience in software testing / quality engineering - Strong experience in mobile application testing across iOS and Android - Hands-on experience with mobile automation, preferably using Appium or Espresso - Experience with Selenium or similar automation tools - Strong API testing experience using REST, JSON, and tools such as Postman or similar - Ability to analyse requirements, identify risks, and create meaningful test coverage - Good understanding of Agile delivery environments - Strong defect reporting, documentation, and communication skills - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone with: - A strong automation-first mindset - Ability to work across manual testing, autom .
