Must-Have Skills: - 5-8 years of mobile engineering experience with at least 3 years on React Native. - Shipped at least 2 apps to App Store and Play Store with 10K+ downloads, ideally with ratings 4.0+. - Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React (hooks, context, suspense). - Solid understanding of native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) to bridge modules and debug native crashes. - Experience with the New Architecture (Fabric, TurboModules) or willingness to migrate. - Proficiency in mobile state management using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, TanStack Query, MMKV. - Familiarity with navigation libraries such as React Navigation or Expo Router. - Disciplined in App Store and Play Store release processes including versioning, phased rollouts, beta tracks, and app review. Good to Have: - Expo and EAS Build production experience. - Background in native iOS or Android development. - Experience in performance profiling using Xcode Instruments and Android Profiler. - Familiarity with React Native Web for sharing code with web. - Knowledge of push notifications with rich media, location services, and background tasks. - Exposure to WebRTC, video, audio, or AR/VR integrations. - Experience in developing apps in fintech, food delivery, or for large consumer audiences. Experience: - 5-8 years of mobile-focused experience with a specific focus on React Native for at least 3 years.
