Responsibilities
The FPGA Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance FPGA-based signal processing for Quantum Control Systems. The role includes developing real-time control logic and high-speed data paths, ensuring deterministic and low-latency operation. Close collaboration with RF and system engineers is required to optimize end-to-end system performance. The engineer will perform verification, timing closure, and hardware validation, and contribute to system integration and bring-up activities.
Qualifications
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field Business-level Japanese Experience in FPGA design (RTL, VHDL/Verilog) Knowledge of high-speed interfaces and digital design fundamentals Experience with debugging and validation in lab environments Preferred: Familiarity with signal processing algorithms Experience in measurement systems or quantum-related applications
