This position applies to students at Aalborg University. We are looking for a smart, motivated student studying wireless communication or software engineering to join our R&D team. Responsibilities
Experiment with AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) and develop proof-of-concepts for new software capabilities. Develop backend software using Microsoft .NET (C#) and contribute to the design and implementation of new features. Modify and maintain web-based user interfaces using TypeScript and modern web technologies. Develop and maintain simple desktop applications in C#. Collaborate with R&D engineers to evaluate new technologies and translate ideas into working prototypes. Support testing, validation, and documentation of developed software solutions. Qualifications
Required skills: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecom or a related field. Experience with software development in C# and Microsoft .NET. Basic knowledge of web development and TypeScript. Interest or knowledge in using AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and modern software development tools. Good knowledge of English (spoken and written). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a collaborative environment. Preferred skills: Experience with AI/LLM technologies, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted software development tools. Familiarity with backend software architecture and REST APIs. Experience with modern web frameworks and frontend development. Knowledge of source control systems such as Git. Experience developing desktop applications using WPF or WinForms. Interest in wireless communications, radio technologies, or 5G/6G systems. Experience with Docker and Docker Compose for developing, deploying, and testing containerized applications.
