As a Python Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining Python-based automation frameworks, managing source control, and enhancing testing, debugging, and release quality through AI-driven agents. Key Responsibilities: - Design scalable automation frameworks for API, UI, and backend testing - Develop reusable Python libraries, utilities, and test data generators - Implement API automation using REST clients and service mocks - Automate UI flows using modern tools like Playwright or Selenium - Ensure high test coverage for microservices and distributed systems - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines SCM & DevOps: - Manage Git repositories and branching strategies such as GitFlow or trunk-based - Handle pull requests, code reviews, and merge conflict resolution - Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI - Implement versioning, release tagging, and deployment workflows - Work with containerized environments like Docker and basic orchestration Agentic AI (Core Differentiator): - Design and build AI agents to automate testing workflows - Generate test cases from requirements using LLMs - Implement AI-driven failure analysis and root cause detection - Develop self-healing automation for flaky tests - Use RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) for intelligent test scenario generation - Build multi-agent systems for test orchestration and reporting Required Skills: Must-Have - Strong Python programming skills including OOP, async programming, and API handling - Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like pytest and unittest - Proficiency in API testing and microservices validation - Strong knowledge of Git/SCM - Experience with CI/CD pipelines - Good understanding of software testing principles As a Python Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining Python-based automation frameworks, managing source control, and enhancing testing, debugging, and release quality through AI-driven agents.
