About the role
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Epic Applications Analyst III in Rockledge, FL.
Overview:
Provides advanced support, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of Epic EHR systems across the organization
Leads projects, partners with clinical and technical teams, and ensures systems meet business needs, regulatory requirements, and end-user expectations
Drives performance improvements through system enhancements, reporting, advanced configuration, troubleshooting, training, and change management while serving as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior analysts
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Epic EHR implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives
Perform advanced system configuration, troubleshooting, and application support
Develop reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support operational and clinical needs
Deliver end-user training and maintain system documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on enhancements, testing, and change management
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, TJC, and organizational policies
Serve as an escalation point and mentor for junior analysts
Provide strategic recommendations to support system performance, sustainability, and continuous improvement
Four (4) years of experience with an EHR, including system configuration and support
Work Experience In Lieu of Education: Six (6) years of experience with an EHR, including system configuration and support
Familiarity with Healthcare IT regulations
Advanced knowledge of Epic modules
Advanced skills in project management
Proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage small projects, lead, and mentor others
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare or Business Administration, or relevant field
Six (6) years of experience with Epic EHR, including system configuration and support.
Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP); Certified Scrum Master (CSM); Certified Health Technology Specialist (CHTS)
Physical Requirements:
Majority of time involves sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, and stooping
Long periods of computer time or at workstation
Light work that may include lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds with or without assistance
May be exposed to inside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting and/or low to moderate noise
Communicating with others to exchange information
Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks
Workspace may vary from open to confined
May require travel to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter; May require use of personal vehicle
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
