Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Support in Tempe, AZ.
Summary: We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for employees across corporate offices and jobsites. This role serves as the first point of contact for technology-related issues and is responsible for supporting end-user devices, applications, printers, scanners, networking equipment, conference room technology, and jobsite infrastructure.
Responsibilities include responding to support requests through phone, email, and ticketing systems; Troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues; Deploying new workstations; And ensuring employees have access to the tools needed to perform their jobs effectively.
Key Duties include:
Provide technical support for Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, antivirus software, and company applications
Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, scanner, and peripheral issues
Set up and support printers, copier/scanners, wireless access points, routers, and internet connectivity at jobsites
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and standard desktop applications
Support conference room and huddle room audio/visual technology
Set up hardware and software for company meetings and training sessions
Deploy and configure end-user workstations and equipment
Escalate issues as appropriate and work within established IT support procedures and guidelines
Maintain regular, reliable attendance and provide excellent customer service to employees at all levels of the organization
This position offers the opportunity to support a growing construction organization while working with a variety of technologies in both office and field environments.
Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
Technology-related certification or equivalent technical training considered
Minimum two years of hands-on IT support or help desk experience
Strong customer service mindset with the ability to support users of varying technical backgrounds
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests simultaneously
Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all organizational levels
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Preferred Certifications:
CompTIA A+
CompTIA Network+
Microsoft Windows 10/11 Certifications
Technical Skills:
Windows 10 and Windows 11 administration and support
Operating system installation, imaging, and configuration
Desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting and repair
Printer, copier/scanner, and peripheral support
TCP/IP networking fundamentals and network troubleshooting
Wireless networking, routers, and access point configuration
Microsoft Office and general software application support
Basic audio/visual support for conference rooms and training events
Experience working with ticketing systems and end-user support environments
Additional Requirements:
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 20 pounds
Comfortable working in office and construction jobsite environments
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
