About the role
Overview Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into test cases. - Perform root cause analysis on defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues. - Implement continuous integration (CI/CD) practices using tools like Jenkins or GitLab. - Utilize data analysis skills to evaluate test results and provide actionable insights. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the overall improvement of the testing process. - Maintain documentation related to test plans, test cases, and testing procedures. Qualifications - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. - Experience with automation frameworks including Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services testing. - Knowledge of database management systems like MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle. - Understanding of version control systems such as Git or SVN. - Experience in mobile testing for Android and iOS platforms is a plus. - Robust analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot software issues effectively. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Docker or AWS is advantageous. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
