About the role
Role & responsibilities Conduct Time Study and Motion Study. Perform Line Balancing and improve production efficiency. Calculate Takt Time, Cycle Time, and Standard Time. Optimize manpower utilization and workstation layout. Implement Lean Manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, VSM, and Poka-Yoke. Monitor and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). Drive productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives. Support new product introduction (NPI) and process improvements. Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, PPC, and SCM teams. Prepare IE reports, SOPs, and process documentation. Preferred candidate profile 23 years of experience in Industrial Engineering. Experience in the EV, Automobile, or Auto Component Manufacturing industry. Good knowledge of EV manufacturing processes. Knowledge of Battery Pack Assembly, Motor Assembly, and Vehicle Assembly is preferred. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Time Study, Motion Study, Line Balancing, OEE, and Productivity Improvement. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Excel. ERP/SAP knowledge is an added advantage.
