Assistant Design Manager

As an experienced professional in the field of Pre Engineered and Structural steel, your role will involve the analysis and design of Pre-engineered steel buildings/structures using STAADPro. You will be responsible for optimizing drawings to meet customer requirements, preparing design sketches and calculations, performing connection designs for Structural / PEB buildings, estimating quantities, and checking approval drawings. Your background in Oil, Gas, and Power sectors with relevant experience in designing steel structures and their optimization will be advantageous. Additionally, you will handle customer queries, analyze, understand, and optimize drawings with cost-effective solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Analysis and Design of Pre-engineered steel buildings/structures using STAADPro - Optimization of drawings to meet customer requirements - Preparation of design sketches and calculations - Performing connection designs for Structural / PEB buildings - Estimation of quantities - Checking of approval drawings - Handling customer queries and providing cost-effective solutions Qualifications Required: - Minimum 8 years of experience in Design of Steel structures, preferably in PEB companies/consultancy/engineering organizations - Background in Oil & Gas, Power, and heavy Industrial sectors with relevant experience in steel and Structural designs preferred - Thorough knowledge of INDIAN STANDARDS, AISC, MBMA, STAAD.Pro, AUTOCAD, and MS Office - Experience in design of steel and R.C.C industrial & multi storied STRUCTURES/BUILDINGS, preferably Pre-engineered buildings - Ability to study architectural drawings and understand customer requirements - Hardworking, dedicated, soft-spoken, and adaptable to organizational requirements - Good communication skills and a team player Education: - B.Tech (Civil) with M.Tech (Structures) is mandatory Please note that the additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.
