About the role
End-to-End Simulation: Lead the full CFD workflow, including geometry clean-up (defeaturing), high-quality mesh generation, solver setup, and post-processing. Design Optimization: Analyze simulation results to identify flow recirculations, pressure drops, and thermal bottlenecks; propose specific design iterations to CAD teams. Validation Correlation: Compare CFD results with experimental test data to calibrate models and ensure high predictive accuracy. Technical Reporting: Distill complex simulation data into clear technical reports and presentations for cross-functional stakeholders. Process Improvement: Develop standardized simulation templates and automation scripts to improve team efficiency and consistency. Software Proficiency:Solvers: Advanced proficiency in Ansys Fluent, Simcenter STAR-CCM+, or OpenFOAM.Meshing Expertise in Ansys Meshing, ICEM CFD, or Pointwise. CADExperience with SolidWorks, CATIA, or Siemens NX for geometry preparation. Technical DepthStrong understanding of Navier-Stokes equations, turbulence modeling ($k-\epsilon$, $k-\omega$ SST), and heat transfer mechanisms.Experience with transient simulations, multiphase flow, or Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT).
