Job Description •Natural Gas & Combustion Expertise: In-depth, authoritative knowledge of Natural Gas engine development, lean-burn/stoichiometric combustion physics, fuel injection systems, and emissions control. •EMS Software & Hardware: Deep, hands-on understanding of Engine Control Unit (ECU/EMS) architecture, hardware interfaces, and control software logic. •Communication Protocols: Robust knowledge of vehicle network architecture and communication protocols, specifically CAN bus, J1939, and related diagnostic tools (e.g., CANalyzer, CANape). •Calibrations & Controls: Familiarity with engine management/control system tuning, data acquisition, and closed-loop control systems. Key Skills & Leadership Attributes •Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate complex technical challenges into actionable development plans. •Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

•Proven ability to manage complex, multi-year engineering projects from concept to production. •Technical Leadership: Lead the development and optimization of Natural Gas internal combustion engines, focusing on advanced combustion strategies. •EMS & Controls Oversight: Oversee the integration of complex Engine Management Systems, ensuring seamless harmony between engine hardware, EMS software, and control strategies. •Protocol & Communication Management: Guide the team in deploying and troubleshooting automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, FlexRay) for robust system diagnostics and control. •Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with simulation, testing, calibration, and manufacturing teams to validate engine performance, emissions, and durability against global standards. •Team Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and elevate a high-performing team of combustion and electronics engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
