About the role
As an AI/ML Team Lead passionate about Natural Language Processing (NLP), you will spearhead the development of a pioneering natural language search tool customized for the accounting domain. Your role involves leading a team of engineers and data scientists to design and implement intelligent search functionalities, enhancing user experience and streamlining financial data retrieval. Key Responsibilities: - Lead Development Initiatives: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of NLP models enabling natural language search capabilities in accounting software. - Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and domain experts to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements. - Research & Innovation: Stay updated on the latest AI/ML and NLP technologies, implementing best practices to keep solutions at the forefront of the industry. - Mentor & Guide Team Members: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning. - Performance Optimization: Analyze model performance and implement strategies to enhance accuracy, speed, and usability of NLP features. Key Skills: - Natural Language Processing (NLP): Deep understanding of NLP concepts such as tokenization, entity recognition, sentiment analysis. Experience with pre-trained language models like GPT, BERT. - Machine Learning (ML): Strong grasp of ML algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning. Experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch. - Search Technologies: Expertise in building and optimizing natural language search tools. Knowledge of semantic search, information retrieval, relevance ranking techniques. - Data Science & Analytics: Proficiency in data analysis, feature engineering, model evaluation. Experience with statistical methods and data preprocessing, especially for financial data. - Programming Languages & Tools: Proficiency in Python and data handling libraries like Pandas, NumPy. Experience with NLP libraries such as spaCy, NLTK. - Cloud Computing & Infrastructure: Familiarity with deploying ML models using cloud services. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). - Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership and mentoring abilities. Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams. - Software Development & Deployment: Proficiency in software engineering practices, version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines. Experience with full-stack development for integrating AI/ML models into applications.
