Senior QA Automation Engineer | Playwright | Postman | API Testing | SQL Experience : 7 to 9 Years Location : Chennai Notice period : Only immediate to short joiners are preferred. About the Role We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our international Agile team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality enterprise applications. You'll work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Architects to ensure robust testing, seamless releases, and continuous quality improvements. Mandatory Skills (Candidates without these skills may not be considered) 7+ years of Software Testing experience Strong experience in QA Automation Hands-on experience with Playwright Strong experience in API Testing using Postman Good knowledge of SQL and Database Testing Hands-on experience with JavaScript (Automation scripting) Experience with Git/GitLab Expertise in Functional, Regression & Integration Testing Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal English) Good to Have MongoDB Azure DevOps / Octane Dynatrace Kibana (Log Analysis) Test Driven Development (TDD) CI/CD exposure Release Coordination Key Responsibilities Analyze business and system requirements to create effective test strategies. Design and execute Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scenarios. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Postman. Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, API, and Database Testing. Validate application data using SQL and MongoDB. Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle. Analyze application logs using Kibana and Dynatrace. Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software. Maintain test documentation and continuously improve automation coverage. What We're Looking For Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Passion for software quality and test automation.
