About the role
You will be responsible for building the infrastructure, running models, and developing strategy at KLDiscovery. As a key member at the intersection of financial systems, data engineering, advanced modeling, and strategic insight, you will have significant autonomy in your role. KLDiscovery is a $350M PE-backed company currently undergoing a Quality of Earnings process and working towards a PE exit. Key Responsibilities: - Design and build Oracle Pigment data pipelines that are clean, automated, and reconciled daily. - Ensure data integrity across Oracle, Pigment, and Salesforce; catch discrepancies before the US team's morning. - Automate manual report pulls such as SSRS AR reports, collections reports, and close checklists. - Administer Pigment/Adaptive: versioning, data refresh, user access, and API connections. - Co-build all six Claude AI agents with the US Sr. FP&A Analyst. - Own the data feeds each agent reads; ensure data accuracy for correct outputs. - Operate, monitor, validate outputs, and continuously improve prompt quality and accuracy of AI agents. - Own end-to-end rolling forecast, EBITDA Bridge, 3+9 reforecast, scenario modeling, and capital investment analysis. - Lead peer benchmarking, strategy memos, KPI framework, data pattern identification, and ELT pre-reads. Qualifications: Financial Modeling - Experience building integrated three-statement models in FP&A, consulting, banking, or PE. - Proficiency in Excel for dynamic models with scenario toggles, sensitivity tables, and zero hardcoded assumptions. - Experience in building PE-grade deliverables in live contexts. - Familiarity with Pigment, Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar platforms. Technical Systems - Proficiency in Python, SQL, REST API, and LLM API for data pipelines, data validation, and AI agent co-development. Strategy and Insight - Ability to translate complex financial analysis into a concise executive narrative. - Experience working directly with CFO- or PE-sponsor-level leadership. - Comfort in operating in ambiguous situations. Leadership and Communication - Exceptional written English for communication with senior leadership. - Self-directed and able to mentor team members.
