About the role
Overview We are seeking a talented and dedicated APEX Developer to join our team, focusing not only on application development but also on server-related tasks essential for maintaining the stability and performance of our global real estate platform. The ideal candidate will be proficient in APEX development and possess expertise in managing application servers, database connections, and more. Responsibilities/General tasks -Platform Maintenance: -Ensure the ongoing stability, security, and performance of our global platform (e.g. renew of application certificates). -Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and disruptions, in coordination with other technical support teams and the database team. -Process and resolve Incidents in coordination with other support levels. Provide root cause analysis (Incident Management) Platform Development: -Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, -Objectives, and challenges. -Translate business needs into technical solutions and APEX applications. Documentation: -Maintain thorough documentation of APEX applications, changes, and configurations. -Ensure knowledge transfer within the technical team and relevant stakeholders. Requirements -To be successful in the above role, the incumbent should possess/ display the following key skills/ attributes: -Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing APEX applications. -Proficiency in PL/SQL with experience working with Oracle 19 and later versions. -Strong knowledge of scripting languages, jQuery, AJAX, and CSS for front-end development. -Competency in database design, including data modeling and query optimization. -Knowledge of setting up and troubleshooting Application Server (Tomcat, ORDS) and connection to Database Server (Oracle). -Experience working on tickets System. E.g. Service Now, Jira. -Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail. -Strong communication and teamwork skills. -Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects. -Proficient English speaker and writer Drive innovation and stability in global real estate technology.
