About the role
About the Role We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow App Engine Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise applications using the ServiceNow App Engine platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building low-code/no-code applications and workflow automation solutions for HR, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and other business functions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable digital workflows that improve operational efficiency and user experience. Key Responsibilities: ServiceNow App Engine Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom enterprise applications using ServiceNow App Engine.Configure forms, tables, business rules, UI components, and workflows.Build reusable applications using App Engine Studio (AES).Develop low-code/no-code solutions with custom scripting where required.Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and aligned with ServiceNow best practices.Workflow Automation: Design and implement workflows using Flow Designer.Automate HR, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Administration, and Shared Services processes.Configure approvals, notifications, SLAs, and task orchestration.Develop automated request fulfillment processes and Service Catalog solutions.HR & Finance Solutions: Develop applications supporting Employee onboarding and lifecycle managementHR case managementLeave and attendance requestsAsset allocation and document managementBudget and purchase request workflowsInvoice and expense approvalsVendor onboarding and contract approvalsPayment requests and financial request trackingIntegration & Customization: Develop REST and SOAP integrations with enterprise systems.Integrate ServiceNow with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, and third-party APIs.Configure Integration Hub spokes and custom integrations.Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, Scripted REST APIs, and Service Portal/Employee Center components.Create reports, dashboards, and performance analytics.Collaboration & Delivery: Gather and analyze business requirements.Prepare functional and technical documentation.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and code reviews.Support UAT, deployments, production releases, and post-implementation activities.Required Skills: ServiceNowApp EngineFlow DesignerIntegration HubService CatalogJavaScriptGlide APIBusiness RulesClient ScriptsScript IncludesUI PoliciesUI ActionsACLREST APISOAPService PortalHRSDITSMCMDBAgileScrumQualifications: 56 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.Strong expertise in ServiceNow App Engine Studio (AES).Experience developing custom enterprise applications using App Engine.Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Service Catalog.Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and ACLs.Experience designing workflows for HR, Finance, Procurement, or Shared Services.Experience building REST/SOAP integrations with enterprise applications.Good understanding of Service Portal or Employee Center.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Preferred Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist App EngineServiceNow Micro-Certification App Engine StudioServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist HRSD (Preferred)Good to Have: Experience with HR Service Delivery (HRSD) or Finance Operations.Knowledge of IntegrationHub ETL and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).Experience with Virtual Agent and AI Search.Exposure to Performance Analytics and Process Optimization.Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.Why Join Us Work on enterprise-scale digital transformation projects using ServiceNow App Engine.Build innovative HR and Finance workflow automation solutions.Collaborate with experienced professionals in a dynamic environment.Excellent opportunities for learning, growth, and career advancement.Compensation: 1,400,000.00 - 1,700,000.00 per year Work Location: In person About the Role We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow App Engine Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise applications using the ServiceNow App Engine platform.
