Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

As a QA Automation Engineer, your role will involve utilizing your expertise in automation testing, API testing, and CI/CD integration. You should possess hands-on experience in Selenium automation, modern testing frameworks, and event-driven systems. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your 6+ years of experience in software testing and automation to drive quality assurance efforts - Implement and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium with a preference for Java, following best practices such as Page Object Model (POM), Don't Repeat Yourself (DRY), and modular frameworks - Conduct advanced API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, GraphQL, Pact, and WireMock - Collaborate with teams working on Spring or Micronaut services to ensure high-quality testing standards - Engage in the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and build tools like Maven/Gradle - Demonstrate strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues effectively - Apply your knowledge and experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures to enhance testing processes Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience in software testing and automation - Proficiency in Selenium (preferably using Java) and framework design principles such as POM, DRY, and modular frameworks - Advanced skills in API testing with tools like Postman, Rest Assured, GraphQL, Pact, and WireMock - Familiarity with Spring or Micronaut services - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and build tools like Maven/Gradle - Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities - Knowledge and experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures In addition to the above, you should be proficient in Selenium, Rest Assured, GraphQL, Pact, Git, Spring, Micronaut, API Testing, and Kafka to excel in this role.
