About the program Job Title: Design Studio Intern Location: Gurugram Onsite as applicable Employment Type: Internship FullTime Duration: 36 Months extendable based on performance Department: Design Studio Architecture Design Creative Team About the Organization The Design Studio operates within a multidisciplinary environment focused on architecture, interiors, materials, branding, and experiential design. The studio collaborates with architects, designers, and brands to develop visually compelling and conceptdriven design solutions, material presentations, and spatial storytelling experiences. Role Overview The Design Studio Intern will support the creative team in conceptualization, visual development, and execution of design projects. The role involves handson exposure to design thinking, material exploration, presentation development, and coordination with internal teams for live projects and studio outputs. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing design concepts, mood boards, and visual narratives Support preparation of presentations, client decks, and design documentation Work on 2D3D visualizations, layouts, and graphic compositions Assist in material research, sample mapping, and trend studies Collaborate with architects, designers, and marketing teams on ongoing projects Help in organizing studio assets, references, and design libraries Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas Support execution of exhibition, installation, or display concepts if applicable Ensure design consistency across all studio outputs Required Skills Qualifications Pursuing or recently completed DegreeDiploma in Architecture Interior Design Product Design Communication Design Fine Arts Strong sense of composition, color, typography, and spatial design Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign mandatory Basic knowledge of SketchUp AutoCAD Rhino Figma is a plus Good visual storytelling and presentation skills Strong attention to detail and aesthetic sensibility Ability to work in a fastpaced, collaborative studio environment Perks Hands-on experience in a professional design studio environment Exposure to live architecture, interior, and material-based projects Opportunity to build a strong industry-ready portfolio Mentorship from experienced architects, designers, and creative leads Certificate of Internship upon successful completion Networking opportunities with architects, brands, and industry professionals Participation in exhibitions, installations, and design showcases (if applicable) Who can apply? Confidentiality of client work, designs, and studio materials must be strictly maintained. Performance will be evaluated periodically based on creativity, discipline, and output quality. Any misuse of design assets or breach of confidentiality may result in immediate termination of internship. The organization reserves the right to modify responsibilities based on project needs.
