The role involves designing, reviewing, and validating electrical systems for EOT cranes, wire rope hoists, chain hoists, jib cranes, and other material handling equipment while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical systems and control solutions for crane products.Prepare and validate:Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)Electrical SchematicsPanel LayoutsBOMsCable Lists & Routing DrawingsPerform LV switchgear selection, cable sizing, and design verification.Review customer specifications and ensure compliance with FEM, EN, and applicable standards.Verify engineering drawings and technical documentation before release.Provide technical support to production, service teams, customers, and project stakeholders.Collaborate with global engineering, mechanical, manufacturing, procurement, and project teams.Drive design optimization, continuous improvement, and quality compliance initiatives.The role is based in our office in SP Infocity, Pune but it goes without saying that the remote & hybrid working is a part of our modern ways of working.Required Qualifications & SkillsEducational QualificationB.E./B.Tech in Electrical EngineeringExperience510 years of experience in industrial products, heavy machinery, cranes, hoists, or material handling equipment.Technical SkillsElectrical Design EngineeringLV Switchgear SelectionCable Sizing & SelectionIndustrial Control SystemsElectrical Schematics & DocumentationCrane systems (EOT Cranes, Wire Rope Hoists, Chain Hoists, Jib Cranes)Software: Zuken E3-CAD, ECS-CAD, EPLAN, SAP, TeamcenterKnowledge of FEM, EN, and related crane standardsDesired CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and quality focusExcellent communication in EnglishAbility to work in global teamsGerman language skills are a plusFlexible and willing to travel internationallyQualificationsEducational QualificationB.E./B.Tech in Electrical EngineeringExperience510 years of experience in industrial products, heavy machinery, cranes, hoists, or material handling equipment.Additional InformationWhat we offerAs a Principal Design Engineer (Electrical), LLE, Drives & DH, you get to join our team and make your mark in our journey forward.
