Structural Engineer - Railway

Position: Structural Engineer Experience: 5+ Years Industry: Railway Infrastructure / Construction Key Responsibilities: Design, analyze, and supervise construction of railway infrastructure projects including: Minor Bridges Major Bridges Railway Platforms Station Buildings Retaining Walls Culverts and Associated Structures Review structural drawings, design calculations, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and railway standards. Coordinate with design consultants, project managers, site engineers, and contractors for smooth project execution. Monitor construction activities at site and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations. Conduct structural inspections and quality checks for concrete, steel, and foundation works. Verify quantities, prepare technical reports, and assist in project planning and scheduling. Review and approve shop drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and construction methodologies. Identify structural issues and provide technical solutions during project execution. Ensure compliance with Indian Railways, RDSO, IRC, IS Codes, and other applicable standards. Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress updates to management. Support tendering, estimation, and bid preparation activities when required. Required Skills: Structural Design & Analysis Bridge Engineering Railway Infrastructure Projects AutoCAD STAAD.Pro MS Project Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering M.Tech (Structural Engineering) preferred Experience Requirement: Minimum 5+ years of experience in railway infrastructure projects. Hands-on experience in construction and supervision of minor & major bridges, platforms, station buildings, and allied railway structures.
