Senior Oracle EBS HRMS Technical Consultant / PL/SQL Integration Developer Location: Remote Role Type: Freelancing Experience Level: 10+ Years About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle EBS HRMS & PL/SQL Technical Consultant to join our core integration team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing custom PL/SQL wrapper packages, complex SSHR workflows, and AME approval logic to power modern RESTful Mobile/Web applications integrated with Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2). Key Responsibilities PL/SQL API Wrapper Development : Build robust, high-performance PL/SQL packages using SYS_REFCURSOR output parameters, JSON generation, and BLOB handling to expose core HR functionality to middleware/mobile layers. Oracle HRMS & SSHR Customization : Develop and maintain integrations utilizing standard Oracle APIs (HR_PERSON_API, HR_PERSON_ADDRESS_API, HR_ABSENCE_ATTENDANCE_API, etc.). Workflow & AME Configuration : Customize and debug Oracle Workflow (HRSSA) and Oracle Approvals Management (AME) rules for multi-level approval processes (Leaves, Address, Dependents, Civil ID, Emergency Contacts, Documents of Record). DateTrack Management : Manage complex DateTrack scenarios (effective_start_date / effective_end_date) to ensure historical data integrity and prevent effective date profile loss. UAT & Bug Fixing : Actively participate in UAT war rooms, troubleshoot execution errors (e.g., ORA-20001, ORA-04063, Fast Formula errors), and perform root-cause analysis on live database environments. Performance Tuning : Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL packages involving heavy workflow transaction tables (hr_api_transaction_steps, wf_notifications, wf_item_attribute_values). Required Technical Skills & Qualifications Oracle EBS Version : Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 (specifically HRMS, SSHR, Payroll, and OLM modules). Core PL/SQL Mastery : Expertise in Advanced PL/SQL (Packages, Procedures, Functions, Dynamic SQL, SYS_REFCURSOR, Exception Handling, DBMS_LOB). Oracle Workflow & AME : In-depth knowledge of Workflow Builder, workflow item attributes, notification routing, and custom AME rules engine setup. Oracle HRMS Data Model : Deep understanding of key HR tables (per_all_people_f, per_all_assignments_f, per_absence_attendances, hr_api_transactions, etc.). API & Middleware Integration : Experience wrapping PL/SQL procedures for consumption by REST APIs (via Java/JDBC or Oracle REST Data Services). Problem Solving : Hands-on experience debugging Fast Formulas, DateTrack logic, and PL/SQL package state/lock issues. Nice to Have Experience with Oracle Learning Management (OLM / OTA events). Familiarity with Agile development workflows, Jira, and Git/version control systems for database packages. Exposure to FortiClient VPN / CA PAM secure remote environment access.
