As a UX Design Manager at our company, you will play a pivotal role in defining how humans interact with complex identity systems and invisible AI agents. You will lead a team of talented designers to create intuitive workflows for IT and Security teams to manage their digital workforce effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Design Strategy: You will be responsible for translating complex technical requirements such as Identity Governance and AI Policies into simple, intuitive, and elegant user experiences. - Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and manage the performance of 4-6 Product Designers, fostering a culture of critique and creativity. - Process Excellence: Own the end-to-end design lifecycle, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and design QA. - Design System: Maintain and evolve our Design System to ensure consistency and speed of execution across the platform. - User Research: Champion user research practices, conduct usability testing, and translate insights into design decisions. - Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering Leaders to ensure design feasibility and business alignment. - Hiring: Actively participate in recruiting top design talent to scale the team. Qualifications Required: - Experience: 8+ years of Product Design experience with 2+ years in a formal leadership/management role. - B2B Complexity: Strong portfolio showcasing experience in B2B SaaS, specifically in complex domains like Data Visualization, Dashboards, and Enterprise Workflows. - Craftsmanship: Mastery of design tools (Figma) and a deep understanding of layout, typography, and interaction design. - Systems Thinking: Ability to design for scale, experience building and evolving a scalable design system. - Education: Degree in Design (HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design) preferred or equivalent practical experience. - Stakeholder Management: Present design rationale to leadership and influence the product roadmap. Nice-to-Haves: - Experience designing for security, compliance, or IT admin personas. - Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment. - Basic understanding of Frontend technologies (HTML/CSS/React) to communicate effectively with engineers. - Awareness of WCAG accessibility standards. - Interest or experience in designing for AI-powered experiences.
