Workday Engineer with Security

Job Title: Workday Engineer with Security Location: Remote Duration: 3 months, contract (potential to hire) Interview: 2 rounds · Years of experience: o 6+ years of Workday experience Job Summary: The Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing, developing, and implementing integrations between Workday and various external systems. This includes troubleshooting of the issues reported by the HRIS/business users. This position will closely work with HRIS and business users to understand the requirements and translate those into scalable integration solution. This role requires strong understanding of Workday integration technologies, analytical skills in fast paced environment. Candidate Technical and Skills Profile:- · Key responsibilities: o Own Workday Integrations and Reports (10%) o Requirement Gathering, Design, build, implement and support Workday integrations using EIB's, Connectors and Workday studio (40%) o Build custom reports and API's (REST and SOAP) (10%) o Document the requirement, integration design and solution (10%) o Design and build security groups for integration and reports (5%) o Ensure securities are accurately provisioned for the reports/users (5%) o Perform unit testing and support QA testing (10%) o Ensure data exchanged with the third-party is secure and compliant (5%) o Work closely with the HRIS and business users to understand the paint points (5%) · Must have technical skills/experience: o Proficient in building complex Studio Integrations. o Strong experience in Workday HCM. o Hands-on experience of Developer tools such as Studio, Oxygen, Postman/SOAP UI or its equivalent. o Ability to work with the business and vendor to gather requirement and ensure documentation in up-to-date. o Working knowledge of the Workday integration tools including EIBs, Core Connector and Workday Studio. o Strong knowledge of calculated fields and security. o Must have excellent verbal/written communication, user interaction. o Rich experience in both Outbound and Inbound integrations. o Experience in developing custom API's (RaaS). o Knowledge of XML, XSLTs. o Working experience of Workday public API's – SOAP and REST. · Flex Skills: o Workday Integration Certification · Soft skills that would make a candidate successful in this role: o Communication - ability to discuss integrations requirements with business and vendor · Education: o Preferred Bachelor's degree with concentration in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Business · Years of experience: o 6+ years of Workday experience
