About the role
Develop and maintain audio firmware and device drivers for Android-based systems Work with ALSA and QNX Sound Architecture, and implement audio algorithms such as Equalizer, delay, and post-processing Utilize DSP RTOS and computer architecture-related concepts such as caching, DMA, and MMU to optimize audio performance Develop and optimize audio firmware for Xtensa DSP architecture, and perform performance benchmarking of algorithms Work on Android HAL development for infotainment media, phone, camera, BT, radio, or vehicle systems Collaborate with the team to realize customer requirements on Android Develop and test Android CTS/VTS, and fix defects related to CTS/VTS Required Skills: Working knowledge of ALSA and QNX Sound Architecture Expert knowledge of Audio Driver and computer architecture-related concepts Knowledge of Xtensan architecture, Assembly coding, and performance benchmarking of algorithms Audio HAL experience preferred Good understanding of Android architecture and internals (AOSP, Binder IPC, HAL & Native services) Experience working on Android HAL layer and realizing customer requirements on Android
