About the role
6-9 years of experience in Powertrain plant model development with B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics / Electrical / Power Electronics or equivalent. Domain knowledge in Hybrid Vehicle Control, BMS- Battery Management System and High Voltage OBC AC/ DC. Experience in Matlab Simulink for Plant model development. Strong analytical and logical reasoning, Ability to connect mathematics, physics & engineering to develop plant models, Requirements Engineering, MBD, V&V, Technical Negotiations Physics based plant modeling, Classical and discrete control systems, Continuous & discrete signal processing, Filter design (FIR, IIR, etc.), Kalman filter (and its various flavors) Responsibilities: Develop physics-based plant models for conventional, hybrid and electric powertrain which may be used in MIL, SIL & HIL testing. Understand the fidelity, feature & end use requirements and translate them into MATLAB-Simulink model/logic/algorithm using MBD techniques. Come up with use cases to identify missing requirements and strengthen the plant model. Expected to provide robust solutions to meet the requirements. Must mentor team members and help them deliver quality product on time, every time. Liaise with project manager, subject matter expert, onsite engineers and customer to deliver the product
