As a potential candidate for the exciting roles of Tech Lead, Solution Architect, and Subject Matter Expert at KPIT, you will be responsible for leading a team of Middleware Developers in the automotive domain, specifically focusing on Android Middleware/Platform. The ideal candidate will have experience with AOSP/HAL and possess strong leadership, planning, and organization skills. Your role will involve working on next-generation SDV, eCockpit, and Infotainment systems, with a deep understanding of IVI, Cluster/Digital Cockpit domain requirements. You will also serve as the main customer interface for all software-related activities, including customer design reviews and negotiations. Additionally, mentoring junior team members, deriving software requirements, and developing platform/middleware components will be key responsibilities. Your analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills will be crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop software/Sw architecture for Android Middleware/Platform - Lead a team of Middleware Developers for various domains like Audio, Media, Tuner, Connectivity, Graphics, Projection, and more - Understand system requirements, derive software requirements, and develop platform/middleware components - Serve as the main customer interface for all software-related activities - Mentor junior team members and provide guidance as needed Qualifications Required: - 5 to 15 years of experience in the relevant field - Strong understanding of Android AOSP/HAL - Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages - Experience in developing Board Support Packages (BSPs) for Android, QNX, and Linux operating systems - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting tools such as GDB, JTAG, and serial console We look forward to meeting you for an in-person Technical Discussion at Bangalore Drive on 23rd Aug 2025.
