Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities Civil Infrastructure Execution Supervise and monitor civil works associated with ITS and smart mobility infrastructure projects. Ensure execution of works in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project standards. Coordinate site activities involving civil contractors, utility agencies, and project teams. Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities. ITS Infrastructure Works Support installation and foundation works for: Traffic Signal Poles CCTV Poles Variable Message Sign (VMS) Structures ANPR and Enforcement System Poles Communication and ITS Equipment Foundations Review and verify site readiness for ITS equipment deployment. Trenching & Ducting Works Supervise trenching and duct laying activities for power and communication networks. Ensure proper cable routing, duct installation, backfilling, and surface restoration. Coordinate with utility service providers to avoid conflicts with existing underground services. HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) Works Monitor HDD activities for underground cable and conduit installation. Ensure compliance with approved alignment, safety requirements, and quality standards. Coordinate with contractors for execution and completion of HDD crossings. Quality Assurance & Compliance Perform site inspections and quality checks for civil works. Verify material quality and workmanship standards. Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and applicable regulations. Maintain site documentation, inspection reports, and progress records. Stakeholder Coordination Liaise with government authorities, utility agencies, contractors, and consultants. Participate in project meetings and provide technical updates. Support issue resolution related to site execution and civil infrastructure works.
