SOC Operation + Google Secops

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Google SecOps (Chronicle) & SOC Operations Analyst with 4+ years of experience in Cyber Security Operations, Threat Hunting, and Threat Intelligence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to security incidents using Google SecOps (Chronicle), SIEM technologies, threat intelligence platforms, and advanced hunting techniques. Key Responsibilities Google SecOps (Chronicle) Operations Manage and monitor security events using Google SecOps (Chronicle). Develop, tune, and optimize detection rules, alerts, and dashboards. Perform log onboarding, normalization, and data source integration. Create and maintain YARA-L detection rules. Analyze security incidents and perform triage, investigation, and remediation. SOC Operations Monitor security alerts and events in a 24x7 SOC environment. Conduct incident investigation and root cause analysis. Perform incident response activities including containment, eradication, and recovery. Prepare incident reports and maintain documentation. Ensure adherence to security policies, frameworks, and SLAs. Detection Engineering Develop and tune use cases for threat detection. Create correlation rules and advanced analytics use cases. Reduce false positives and improve detection coverage. Collaborate with Incident Response and Security Engineering teams. Threat Hunting Conduct proactive threat hunting using telemetry, logs, EDR, and network data. Identify advanced threats, suspicious activities, and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs). Develop threat hunting hypotheses and document findings. Create custom detection content based on hunting outcomes. .
