About the role
As a Manager at KPMG in India, you will be part of the Observability and Incident Management Team, impacting the core technology and collaborating with highly experienced technology and product teams. Your role will involve engaging with stakeholders and Senior Product Managers to formulate vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap, managing expectations, dependencies, and working across multiple products and teams. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding key user personas, customers, and stakeholders for the product - Documenting and explaining new requirements to the engineering team using user stories, personas, and acceptance tests - Facilitating sprint/release planning sessions to deliver maximum business value with least effort - Leading discovery work around minimum viable product (MVP) for new product/features - Driving experiments and creating MVPs for robust data-driven decisions on product improvements You will need the following skills: Interpersonal and leadership skills: - Collaboration and cross-functional alignment - User-centric approach with empathy for end users - Change management experience - Influence and advocacy for observability practices Technical Skills: - Understanding observability concepts and pillars - Experience with observability tools like New Relic, Splunk, Grafana - Engineering experience and familiarity with software development lifecycles - Data analysis skills to interpret patterns and anomalies from complex data sets Preferred Background: - Minimum 2 years of Product management experience - Technical education in computer science, engineering, or equivalent - Understanding of how observability impacts business - Prior experience in observability or devops - Strong prioritization and decision-making skills KPMG India promotes equal employment opportunities for all applicants and employees, regardless of their background.
