About the role
UK- Clara I&D-; Assistant Manager ( Data Analyst)- BLR KPMG Resource Centre (KRC) provides audit support services to KPMG firms globally. These services include IT audits, data analytics, engagement support, transaction assurance and ESG, among others. The business supports multiple sectors through operations in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Noida and Mumbai. Roles and responsibilities Perform data extraction, cleaning, and analysis from a variety of sources to support audit technology use cases. - Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders across audit and technology teams. - Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business SMEs to define and refine metrics that support product development and audit objectives. - Support data quality assessments, validation checks, and anomaly detection within audit datasets. - Contribute to the development of reusable data assets, analytics models, and documentation for product integration. - Assist in requirements gathering and specification for data-driven features and analytics tools in audit solutions . Maintain awareness of data governance, compliance, and security considerations relevant to audit data. - Participate in the testing and evaluation of data and analytics capabilities, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and regulatory standards. Other responsibilities will typically include supervising teams; coaching and development in technical, risk & compliance management, operational and quality management; project management including budgeting and planning; delivery of quality reports; and some performance management responsibilities. Due to the nature of the position, you may be working at/visiting a client site and/or other KPMG offices. Mandatory technical and functional skills Experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting within a professional services or technology environment. - Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau. - Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets Familiarity with audit, risk, or compliance data is advantageous Good communication skills, including the ability to translate technical findings into business-friendly insights. This role is for you if you have the below Educational qualifications A professional accountancy qualification from a recognised accountancy body is desirable but is not essential. (D) Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
